Seattle Company Awarded SSA Consultancy Contract

Martha’s Vineyard – HMS Consulting and Technical Engineers, a Seattle, Washington marine consulting company has been awarded the contract to to undertake a comprehensive review of Steamship Authority operations, pending contract negotiations.
Eight companies had responded to a request for proposals following an agreement by the SSA board of governors to seek an independent review of operations following an unprecedented spate of ferry breakdowns on the Vineyard route this spring.
