The Week Ahead: Friday, August 25 through Thursday, August 31, 2017

August 25, 2017

The month concludes in the Week Ahead with sunny days predicted in a weather forecast that will make it hard to believe the summer season of 2017 is coming to its inevitable end. But before heading back to work, school, snow and sweaters, we can still enjoy the delightful parting gift the days ahead offer.    Spend them wisely at the beach, on the sea or under the shade of your favorite oak or maple.  Our calendar too reflects the changes to come with many of the stalwart weekly events available all summer at an end or ending soon after the Labor Day holiday.  It’s the perfect time to revisit and savor a favorite or to check out one that remains on your summertime bucket list untried and untested. Either way or both, enjoy the Week Ahead!
