On the Island’s north shore, Vineyard Haven (Tisbury) is the Steamship Authority’s year-round car ferry port serving Woods Hole. Consequently, its business community is among the most active of the Island’s six towns off-season. Town administrative offices offer information on dockage, trash pick-up, shell fishing, building, yard sale and other permitting.
