This year’s cover photograph of a little girl capturing the brass ring at the Flying Horses carousel was a submission to the 2022 Martha’s Vineyard magazine photo contest. It was shot by Douglas Furbush, and the little girl is his granddaughter, Maria Montalbano. Other photographers contributing to the magazine include Ray Ewing, Tim Johnson, Jeanna Shepard, Mark Alan Lovewell, and Larry Glick.
