Wine and Roses

October 21, 2021
A carpet of leaves on the cobblestones, the crisp outline of the Old Whaling Church against an azure sky, the low light sparkling on the harbor: Edgartown is dazzling right now. Take advantage of all the open parking spaces and stroll downtown with an eye to a bit of early holiday shopping. Be sure to stop by the historic Cooke House for garden tours and craft demonstrations. If you’re up for an adventure, take the On Time ferry over to Chappy with your bikes, or sign up for the Weekend Wanderer Lighthouse Tour to see Cape Pogue Light. Next weekend: Vineyard Haven!
