Island Time, Feb. 27-March 1: A Rare Leap Weekend

Island Time, Feb. 27-March 1: A Rare Leap Weekend

February 27, 2020

Feb. 29 comes just once every four years—but it hasn’t arrived on a Saturday since 1992, and won’t again until 2048. A weekend this rare deserves celebration, and Martha’s Vineyard offers plenty of ways to make it a memorable one. We’ve picked a few events and activities to consider over the next few days, and you can find everything that’s happening on the Island in the Complete Martha’s Vineyard Calendar.

Beyond this weekend, you can start planning for summer right now — here’s a handy list of all the big summer events for 2020.
