It’s another festive Martha’s Vineyard weekend, with a food and wine festival in Edgartown, a film festival in Vineyard Haven and a fall festival in West Tisbury. And these are just some of the fun activities happening on Island over the next few days. See below for some of our picks, and find everything that’s going on in the Complete Martha’s Vineyard Calendar.

Friday, Oct. 25 | Raise a glass

The Martha’s Vineyard Food & Wine Festival has tastings, wine dinners and culinary events scheduled throughout the weekend in Edgartown—check the Complete Martha’s Vineyard Calendar to see which are sold out and which still have tickets available.

The first annual Women in Film Festival, a celebration of female filmmakers at the Martha’s Film Center in Vineyard Haven, presents I Am Not a Witch at 4 p.m.

Barbeque and sparkling wine are on the menu at chef Jimmy Alvarado’s Bubble-Q dinner, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Lambert’s Cove Inn in West Tisbury.

At the Martha’s Vineyard Museum in Vineyard Haven, you can play Clue Live from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Joker plays Edgartown Cinemas at 7:30 p.m.

Saturday, Oct, 26 | Carve a pumpkin

The West Tisbury Farmer’s Market celebrates its autumn move to the Agricultural Hall with an all-ages Fall Festival from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The Brunch Run, a 5K/10K run/walk hosted by the food and wine festival to benefit the Martha’s Vineyard Agricultural Society and Island Grown Schools, starts at 9 a.m. at Katama General Store.

From noon to 3 p.m., Morning Glory Farm in Edgartown is holding a Pumpkin Carving Contest.

The Island Cup varsity football game, between Martha’s Vineyard Regional High School and arch-rival Nantucket, starts at 1:30 p.m. at the high school in Oak Bluffs.

The Capawock Theatre in Vineyard Haven is showing Judy at 4:30 p.m.

Sunday, Oct. 27 | Make some music

From noon to 1 p.m. you can help out with the East Chop Beach Clean Up—gloves and trash bags will be supplied. Meet at the East Chop Beach Club in Oak Bluffs.

At 2 p.m., catch the matinee of a very Vineyard production of Our Town, the Pulitzer-winning play by Thornton Wilder, at the Martha’s Vineyard Playhouse in Vineyard Haven.

A Fine Line, playing at the Film Center at 4 p.m., takes a look at the experiences of women in the restaurant world.

Stones/Water/Time/Breath is an interactive piece of music made with stones and water. Island composer Dean Rosenthal invites the public to perform the work with him and musician Andy Herr, at Lambert’s Cove Beach in West Tisbury starting at 4:30 p.m.

At the Ritz in Oak Bluffs, the McMahon brothers’ Holy Rock & Roll Revival begins at 7:45 p.m.
