Hospital to Welcome Primary Care Doctors

Martha’s Vineyard – Three new primary care doctors, a pediatrician and two family practitioners, will soon be added to staff at The Martha’s Vineyard Hospital.

Dr. Steven Feder, a board-certified pediatrician who has been practicing at Lincoln Medical Partners in Damariscotta, Maine, plans to move to the Island in late September with his family.

Dr. Amar Luzic,who served as a resident at the Martha’s Vineyard hospital under the supervision of Dr. Henry Nieder in 2015, will join the staff as a full-time family practitioner in late August.

Dr. Scott Simmons, who is currently in practice at the Boston Medical Center and is an assistant professor overseeing residents, medical students and fellows, will begin full time work as a family practitioner in late September.
