Enjoy an extra day in February, before March debuts in the Week Ahead! School vacation comes to an end and by Monday, Island life in the off-season returns to normal. Start the weekend with a dance party fundraiser, and segue into Sunday with an Oscar Viewing party. Later in the week a new, Islander-curated show opens at the Martha’s Vineyard Museum. Enjoy!

Gig for the Gigs
The Chandler Blues Band with Gordon Healy plays a benefit for the Rowing Club of Sail MV. Come dance the night away in a Gig for the Gig

Sunday, February 28
Oscar Viewing Party
Celebrate the 88th Academy Awards telecast, hosted by Chris Rock, among friends and other film lovers at the MV Film Center. Enjoy light food, desserts, and beverages.

Monday Night At The Movies

Exhibit Opening: Kids in the Archives – A Modern Perspective
See the top twenty literary pieces, chosen by the students’ teachers, displayed with their photos from the Museum archives in this unique exhibition.
