Chef Alex Pineda of Boston’s Scampo restaurant — and the son of legendary chef Lydia Shire — takes over the kitchen at the Harbor View Hotel’s Bettini Restaurant Saturday from 7 pm. to 10 p.m. to create an eight-course tasting dinner with wine pairings.
The Chilmark Public Library is building a kindness rock garden and you can be a part of it: The library has paints, brushes and rocks available Thursdays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., or you can use your own supplies at home to create an inspirational phrase or painting on the rock of your choice.
