The full moon shines tonight, the weather is warming, nurseries and farmstands are open, and the virtual Vineyard is in full-swing. Be sure to take a walk this weekend to see the mayflowers and wild violets in bloom, but know that there’s plenty to do inside, too. More virtual events are popping up every day. Thursday, May 7 | See the Light

Be among the first online viewers of the Gay Head Light documentary Keepers of the Light, then join filmmakers and special guests for a launch celebration and Q & A on Zoom at 8 p.m.

Friday, May 8 | Slide show surprises

The Martha’s Vineyard Museum is taking its PechaKucha nights to the internet. Starting at 7 p.m., watch on Zoom as interesting Islanders present 20 slides, for 20 seconds each, on a variety of topics.

Saturday, May 9 | For the birds

Ben Hughes, Rose Guerin, Delanie Pickering, and other Island musicians play an all-ages Zoom benefit concert for Mass Audubon Felix Neck from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Sunday, May 10 | Staying in

Sheltering at home takes on a new meaning in the documentary Spaceship Earth, about the eight people who isolated themselves for two years inside a sealed replica of Earth’s biosphere. It’s available to stream for a pittance to benefit the Martha’s Vineyard Film Festival: tmvff.org/spaceshipearth.

Monday, May 11 | Hearing voices

The West Tisbury Public Library hosts its regular Writers Read evening on Zoom starting at 7 p.m. Sign up to read or just sign in to listen.

Tuesday, May 12 | By the (cook)book

Cook and share experiences with the Virtual Cookbook Club, which meets on Zoom from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m., sponsored by the Oak Bluffs Public Library.

Wednesday, May 13 | Start podcasting

Learn How to Start a Podcast in a free online workshop, sponsored by the Edgartown Library, from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
