Flags are flying and the Fourth of July is Thursday. We’ll be back later in the week to let you know more about holiday activities, but in the meantime, enjoy these five terrific things to do on Martha’s Vineyard this week. And check out the complete Gazette calendar for more activities.
4. The Childen’s Fourth of July Parade starts at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 4 at the Trinity Park Tabernacle in Oak Bluffs.
Parade participants gather on West Clinton Avenue before the start. Patriotic clothing and decorated bikes are encouraged; motorized bikes and scooters are not permitted.The parade route takes kids down West Clinton and around Trinity Circle to the MCVMA Museum.
