Join us during your school vacation week to explore different island properties, learn about wildlife, grow food, make crafts, sing songs, listen to stories and much more!
A program for grades K-5th during April Vacation
April 16th – April 20th 8:30am – 3pm
Monday: FARM Institute Help collect eggs, check on the lambs, cook some food, and prepare for the growing season. Explore the wonders of nature through sustainable farming.
Tuesday: Sassafras Ready for a real adventure? Learn about survival? Playing sneak-up games? Spend the day in our beautiful camp in the Aquinnah woods and be wild!
Wednesday: The Trustees of Reservations Explore the shore on Chappaquiddick Island, comb the beach and Mytoi garden for signs of spring. Hop into over-sand vehicles to the Cape Poge Lighthouse!
Thursday: Felix Neck Learn about nature’s transformation: Explore sights and sounds, welcome back birds, insects, mammals from their winter ways. See how they prepare for summer.
Friday: Island Grown Schools Spring is exciting in the garden! We travel the path from seed to fork: digging in the dirt, planting seeds, and tasting our way through the garden with games and songs.
