January 10th, herbalist and writer Holly Bellebuono will be at the library to give a presentation on herbs and their uses for health and wellness. Bellebuneo will talk about herbs for the brain. Discover how the nervous system works, what neurons do and how they function, and how herbs can influence and strengthen brain functions to improve memory, clarity of thought, and even supporting those with Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease. Learn how to use these herbs in easy foods and meals for prevention and nourishment. Holly Bellebuono is an international herbalist, speaker and author who has taught workshops, retreats, classes and programs about herbal medicine for 23 years. She directs The Bellebuono School of Herbal Medicine. The author of several books, Bellebuneo is the CEO of Bellebuono Holistic International and her most recent book is An Herbalist’s Guide to Formulary has been described as a “treasure chest of plant wisdom (that) offers science as well as engaging stories.”
