SSA Expects Smooth Sailing Ahead

Martha’s Vineyard – According to SSA general manager Bob Davis it was expected that the boat line would be running on a regular schedule as of Friday thus ending a 3 week spate of issues that created travel chaos for travelers both to and from the Island. The Island Home made her way down Vineyard Sound from Fairhaven and into the Vineyard Haven harbor Thursday afternoon, and the Woods Hole was due to return to Vineyard Haven later in the day from Hyannis. The ferry Martha’s Vineyard had been back in service since Monday.
