Step Into History! Begun in 1835, the 34 acres of the Martha’s Vineyard Camp Meeting Association is now a National Historic Landmark, known for the famous & colorful Martha’s Vineyard Gingerbread Cottages, and its uniquely designed wrought iron Tabernacle (1879). Just a short (2-5 minute) walk from the Oak Bluffs harbor, the grounds are free to enter by foot; walking tours are also available. Individual cottages are privately owned, but visitors may survey the cottages from the roads and walkways during the day. Another popular destination within the grounds is the Cottage Museum, open June – October, where visitors can view the interior of a typical campground cottage, complete with period furnishing, clothes and décor. We also offer a full calendar of events throughout the summer season. For complete visitor information, click here>
