Linda Comstock produces, directs and reads together with members of Peter H. Luce Play Readers, the award winning playwright Christopher Durang’s comedic short play, Actor’s Nightmare. It involves an accountant named George Spelvin who is mistaken for an actor’s understudy and forced to perform in a play for which he doesn’t know any of the lines. Durang is known for “works of outrageous and often absurd comedy.” His play, Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike won the Tony Award for Best Play in 2013.
Felicity Russell directs and produces the reading of three short humorous plays: by Lauren Gunderson, the most widely produced current American playwright, two of her early short plays: Damsel and Distress Go To A Party, where girls chat while getting ready to go to a party. PrettyFace and KickSomeFuckingAssFace are two of their make-up options.
Two Pigeons Talk Politics – the title says it all.
