Aimee Mann comes to the Martha’s Vineyard Performing Arts Center on June 28, joined by special guest Jonathan Coulton, for the second show in the Martha’s Vineyard Concert Series!
After releasing three albums with new-wave band ‘Til Tuesday, Aimee Mann embarked on a successful solo career that has included nine studio albums, as well as Grammy and Academy Award nominations for her song “Save Me” from the soundtrack to the Paul Thomas Anderson film Magnolia. Her most recent album, Mental Illness, was released in 2017 under her own label, SuperEgo Records.
Jonathan Coulton is a singer-songwriter known for his songs about geek culture and his use of the Internet to draw fans. His new album Solid State explores the Internet, trolls, artificial intelligence, and how love and empathy will save humanity. He is also the house musician for the NPR game show Ask Me Another.
