MV African American Film Festival
Held at the Martha’s Vineyard Performing Arts Center (MVPAC), Run & Shoot Filmworks’ Martha’s Vineyard African American Film Festival enters its 16th summer this year. “The Summer’s Finest Film Festival” screens and promotes some of the most outstanding and emerging Feature, Documentary and Short films produced by and starring African Americans from around the world.
Martha’s Vineyard AA Comedy Fest
Kicking-off Black Comedy Month is a one-night only performance on August 1st, headlining Damon Williams and Deon Cole from ABC’s sitcom, Black-ish. The 8th Annual Martha’s Vineyard Comedy Fest invites you to celebrate with comedians Steve Brown, Marc Henderson, Myra J, Marcus Combs, Maija DiGiorio, Cool Aide, Alex Ortiz, Martini Harris, Reggie Reg and DJ Dolla Bill. Performances will continue throughout August.
Martha’s Vineyard Jazz & Blues Summerfest
Since its inception, the annual Martha’s Vineyard Jazz & Blues Summerfest has played host to music lovers from all over the United States and Europe. Join them again this summer with great jazz talent over the Labor Day weekend.
